January 20th - Magenta - Call Me

Magenta began in Cardiff, South Wales, in 2001 when multi-instrumentalist, producer, and engineer Rob Reed began working with vocalist Christina Booth on a studio-only project revolving around lyrics written by his bother Steve Reed.

The end result, the album Revolutions, was released on F2 Music that same year to critical acclaim, and as demand for live performances grew, the band Magenta was officially launched, settling into a lineup that included Booth as vocalist, Chris Fry and Martin Rosser on guitars, Allan Mason-Jones on drums, Daniel Fry on bass, and Rob Reed playing a little bit of everything from keyboards to guitar and bass.

Thanks Bobby for a wonderful look into Prog/Rock. For more of Magenta's work, please visit http://www.magenta-web.com/
