January 31st - Ray LaMontagne - Shelter
I guess you don't need it
I guess you don't want me to repeat it
But everything I have to give I'll give to you
It's not like we planned it
You tried to stay, but you could not stand it
To see me shut down slow
as though it was an easy thing to do
Listen when
All of this around us will fall over
I tell you what we're gonna do
You will shelter me my love
And I will shelter you
I will shelter you
I left you heartbroken, but not until those very words were spoken
Has anybody ever made such a fool out of you
It's hard to believe it
Even as my eyes do see it
The very things that make you live are killing you
Listen when all of this around us will fall over
I tell you what we're gonna do
You will shelter me my love
I will shelter you
Listen when
All of this around us will fall over
I tell you what we're gonna do
Hey you will shelter me my love
I will shelter you
If you shelter me too
I will shelter you
I will shelter you
My choice today. :-) Kimmy

January 30th - King's X - Cigarettes
King's X - Cigarettes lyrics
Have you gotten any cigarettes
and have you got anything for me
I no longer know just what I'm saying
is this how it's supposed to be.
sometimes I think the pain blows my mind
pain blows my mind.
is it June or late September
is it 1993
could you help me to remember
is this how I'm supposed to be
sometimes I think the pain blows my mind
pain blows my mind.
did you ever get those cigarettes
and did you get anything for me
will you help me to remember
when I fall into the sea.
sometimes I think the pain blows my mind
pain blows my mind.

January 29th - Eric Clapton - Wonderful Tonight
Eric Clapton - Wonderful Tonight
It's late in the evening; she's wondering what clothes to wear.
She puts on her make-up and brushes her long blonde hair.
And then she asks me, "Do I look all right?"
And I say, "Yes, you look wonderful tonight."
We go to a party and everyone turns to see
This beautiful lady that's walking around with me.
And then she asks me, "Do you feel all right?"
And I say, "Yes, I feel wonderful tonight."
I feel wonderful because I see
The love light in your eyes.
And the wonder of it all
Is that you just don't realize how much I love you.
It's time to go home now and I've got an aching head,
So I give her the car keys and she helps me to bed.
And then I tell her, as I turn out the light,
I say, "My darling, you were wonderful tonight.
Oh my darling, you were wonderful tonight."
Thank you Rick! I love you.

January 28th - Dave Matthews - Ants Marching
Dave Matthews - Ants Marching
He wakes up in the morning.
Does his teeth, bite to eat and he's rolling
Never changes a thing.
The week ends, the week begins.
She thinks, we look at each other
Wondering what the other is thinking,
But we never say a thing.
And these crimes between us grow deeper.
Take these chances
Place them in a box until a quieter time.
Lights down, you up and die.
Goes to visit his mommy
She feeds him well, his concerns
He forgets them.
And remembers being small
Playing under the table and dreaming...
Take these chances
Place them in a box until a quieter time
Lights down, you up and die.
Driving along this highway
All these cars and up on the sidewalk
People in every direction
No words exchanged,
No time to exchange when
All the little ants are marching.
Red and black antennae waving.
They all do it the same
They all do it the same way,
Candyman tempting the thoughts of a
Sweet tooth tortured by weight loss programs
cutting the corners, there's a
Loose end, loose end, cut cut
On the fence, try not to offend.
Cut cut, cut cut.
Take these chances
Place them in a box until a quieter time.
Lights down, you up and die.
Lights down, you up and die.
Brought to you by Alyssa!

January 27th - Yngwie Malmsteen - You Don't Remember
Yngwie Malmsteen
You Don't Remember lyrics
It was you, it was me,
And we would last forever.
Any fool could see, that we were
Meant to be
Without you, there is no meaning to
My life.
You're gone and it cuts me like
A knife.
How could you leave me?
You don't remember, I'll never forget
You just don't remember, I'll never forget.
Why did you turn away,
Let your love fade away and die.
You became so cold, you made me feel
So old.
When you left, you broke my heart
And just to see.
How many pieces there would be,
After you leave me.
You don't remember, I'll never forget
You just don't remember, I'll never forget

January 26th - Def Leppard - Photograph
Def Leppard - Photograph
Gotta photograph, picture of
Passion killer, you're too much
You're the only one I wanna touch
I see your face every time I dream
On every page, every magazine
So wild and free, so far from me
You're all I want, my fantasy
Oh, look what you've done to this rock 'n' roll clown
Oh oh, look what you've done
Photograph - I don't want your
Photograph - I don't need your
Photograph - All I've got is a photograph
But it's not enough
I'd be your lover, if you were there
Put your hurt on me, if you dare
Such a woman, you got style
You make every man feel like a child, oh
You got some kinda hold on me
You're all wrapped up in mystery
So wild and free, so far from me
You're all I want, my fantasy
Oh, look what you've done to this rock 'n' roll clown
Oh oh, look what you've done
Photograph - I don't want your
Photograph - I don't need your
Photograph - All I've got is a photograph
You've gone straight to my head
Oh, look what you've done to this rock 'n' roll clown
Oh Oh, look what you've done
I gotta have you

January 25th - Doobie Brothers - Daughters Of The Sea
Doobie Brothers - Daughters Of The Sea
Autumn breeze blowin' to the east
Shift of breeze upon a sea of peace
Hear them call, can't you hear them sing
Hear them call, how their voices ring
Dizzy dancin', golden ladies
Misty eyes that cannot fool
Silver shoreline waves come crashin'
To the end of all of you
Like a spider weavin' silken nets
Fingers move, swaying silhouettes
Hear them call, can't you hear them sing
Hear them call, how their voices ring
Spinning, turning, moonlit madness
'Round the fire burnin' bright
I can see it risin' higher
Lightin' up the starry night
Hear them call, can't you hear them sing
Hear them call, how their voices ring
Hear them call, can't you hear them sing
Hear them call, how their voices ring
Great tune and Video Bobby!

January 24th - Rush - Nobody's Hero
Rush - Nobody's Hero
I knew he was different in his sexuality
I went to his parties as a straight minority
It never seemed a threat to my masculinity
He only introduced me to a wider reality
As the years went by, we drifted apart
When I heard that he was gone
I felt a shadow cross my heart
But he's nobody's hero
Saves a drowning child
Cures a wasting disease
Hero...lands the crippled airplane
Solves great mysteries
Hero...not the handsome actor
Who plays a hero's role
Hero...not the glamour girl
Who'd love to sell her soul
If anybody's buying
Nobody's hero
I didn't know the girl, but I knew her family
All their lives were shattered in a nightmare of brutality
They try to carry on, try to bear the agony
Try to hold some faith in the goodness of humanity
As the years went by, we drifted apart
When I heard that she was gone
I felt a shadow cross my heart
But she's nobody's hero
Is the voice of reason against the howling mob
Hero...is the pride of purpose
In the unrewarding job
Hero...not the champion player
Who plays the perfect game
Hero...not the glamour boy
Who loves to sell his name
Everybody's buying
Nobody's hero
As the years went by, we drifted apart
When I heard that you were gone
I felt a shadow cross my heart
But he's nobody's hero
Saves a drowning child
Cures a wasting disease
Hero...lands the crippled airplane
Solves great mysteries
Hero...not the handsome actor
Who plays a hero's role
Hero...not the glamour girl
Who'd love to sell her soul
If anybody's buying
Nobody's hero

January 23rd - Sawyer Brown - The Walk
Sawyer Brown
The Walk lyrics
Down our long dusty driveway
I didn't want to go
But I set with tears In my eyes wondering
Daddy took me by the hand
Looked out at the school bus and his little man and said,
"Don't worry boy It will be all right"
Chorus
'Cause I took this walk your walking now
Boy, I've been In your shoes
You can't hold back the hands of time
It's just something you've got to do
So dry eyes I understand just what your going through
Cause I took this walk with my old man
Boy, I've been In your shoes
Down our long dusty driveway
I set my mind to go
I was eighteen and wild and free and wondering
Daddy took me by the hand
Look at the world and his grown man and said,
"Don't worry boy It will be all right"
Chorus
Down our long and dusty driveway
This time we both would go
He had old and gray
And his mind was wandering
Daddy took me by the hand
Said, "I know where were going and I understand
Don't worry boy it will be all right"
Chorus

January 22nd - Triumph - Magic Power
Triumph Magic Power Lyrics
Somethin's at the edge of your mind, you don't know what it is
Somethin' you were hopin' to find but your not sure what it is
Then you hear the music and it all comes crystal clear
The music does the talkin' says the things you want to hear
CHORUS:
I'm young, I'm wild and I'm free
I got the magic power of the music in me
She climbs into bed, pull the covers overhead and turns her little radio on
She's has a rotten day so she hopes the DJ's gonna play her favorite song
It makes her feel much better, brings her closer to her dreams
A little magic power makes it better that it seems
She's young now, she's wild now, she wants to be free
She gets the magic power of the music in me
If you're thinkin' it over but you just can't sort it out
Do you want someone to tell you what they think it's all about
Are you the one and only who's sad and lonely, reachin' for the top
Well the music keeps you goin' and it's never gonna stop
The world is full of compromise, the infinite red tape
But the music's got the magic, it's your one chance for escape
So turn me on - turn me up - it's your turn to dream
A little magic power makes it better than it seems
CHORUS

January 21st - The Black Keys - Keep Me
The Black Keys Keep Me
Keep me clean
Keep me warm
Keep my soul away from harm
Keep the night
Keep the day
Keep the in-between away
Hold that second
Hold the time
Hold that picture in your mind
Hold the smoke
Hold the fire
Hold all that that you desire
Show me trust
Show me love
Show me heaven up above
Show your soul
Show your mind
Show it to me all the time

January 20th - Magenta - Call Me
Magenta began in Cardiff, South Wales, in 2001 when multi-instrumentalist, producer, and engineer Rob Reed began working with vocalist Christina Booth on a studio-only project revolving around lyrics written by his bother Steve Reed.
The end result, the album Revolutions, was released on F2 Music that same year to critical acclaim, and as demand for live performances grew, the band Magenta was officially launched, settling into a lineup that included Booth as vocalist, Chris Fry and Martin Rosser on guitars, Allan Mason-Jones on drums, Daniel Fry on bass, and Rob Reed playing a little bit of everything from keyboards to guitar and bass.
Thanks Bobby for a wonderful look into Prog/Rock. For more of Magenta's work, please visit http://www.magenta-web.com/

Stock in my seat can't move no way the other guys knows the game to play
I'm watchin' her
I'm watchin' me
I'm gettin' brave
Oh

Look on the floor and all is spinning round
Someone told me this was just a dance

She looks at him
Ain't gonna be
No story in love
Take me to the dance
Floor by the hand
Give me this night
In a foreign land.
Look on the floor
And all is spinning round

Look on the floor
And all is spinning round

Howard Jones - No One is to Blame
You can look at the menu, but you just can't eat
You can feel the cushion, but you can't have a seat
You can dip your foot in the pool, but you can't have a swim
You can feel the punishment, but you can't commit the sin
And you want her, and she wants you
We want everyone
And you want her and she wants you
No one, no one, no one ever is to blame
You can build a mansion, but you just can't live in it
You're the fastest runner but you're not allowed to win
Some break the rules, and live to count the cost
The insecurity is the thing that won't get lost
And you want her, and she wants you
We want everyone
And you want her, and she wants you
No one, no one, no one ever is to blame
You can see the summit but you can't reach it
Its the last piece of the puzzle but you just can't make it fit
Doctor says you're cured but you still feel the pain
Aspirations in the clouds but your hopes go down the drain
And you want her, and she wants you
We want everyone
And you want her, and she wants you
No one, no one, no one ever is to blame
No one ever is to blame
No one ever is to blame

January 17th - Muse - Hoodoo
MUSE
Hoodoo lyrics from Black Holes & Revelations
(Video from my birthday, June 17th, 2007 at Wembley Stadium)
Come into my life
Regress into a dream
We will hide and build a new reality
Draw another picture of the life you could have had
Follow your instincts and choose the other path
You should never be afraid
You're protected from trouble and pain
Why?
Why is this a crisis in your eyes again?
Come to be?
How did it come to be?
Tied to a railroad, no love to set us free
Watch our souls fade away and our bodies crumbling
Don't be afraid
I will take the blow for you
I've had recurring nightmares that I was loved for who I am
And missed the opportunity to be a better man

January 16th - Meatloaf - You Took The Words Right Out of My Mouth
Meatloaf - You Took The Words Right Out of My Mouth
On a hot summer night.
Would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses?
Will he offer me his mouth?
Yes
Will he offer me his teeth?
Yes
Will he offer me his jaws?
Yes
Will he offer me his hunger?
Yes
Again. Will he offer me his hunger?
Yes
And will he starve without me?
Yes
And does he love me?
Yes
Yes
On a hot summer night.
Would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses?
Yes
I bet you say that to all the boys.
It was a hot summer night and the beach was burning
There was a fog crawling over the sand
When I listen to your heart I hear the whole world turning
I see the shooting stars
Falling through your trembling hands
You were licking your lips and your lipstick shining
I was dying just to ask for a taste
We were lying together in a silver lining
By the light of the moon
You know there's not another moment
Not another moment
Not another moment to waste
You hold me so close that my knees grow weak
But my soul is flying high above the ground
I'm trying to speak but no matter what I do
I just can't seem to make any sound
And then you took the words right out of my mouth
Oh-it must have been while you were kissing me
You took the words right out of my mouth
And I swear it's true
I was just about to say I love you
And then you took the words right out of my mouth
Oh-it must have been while you were kissing me
You took the words right out of my mouth
And I swear it's true
I was just about to say I love you
Now my body is shaking like a wave on the water
And I guess that I'm beginning to grin
Oooh, we're finally alone and we can do what we want to
The night is young
And ain't no one gonna know where you
No one gonna know where you
No one's gonna know where you've been
You were licking your lips and your lipstick shining
I was dying just to ask for a taste
We were lying together in a silver lining
By the light of the moon
You know there's not another moment to waste
And then you took the words right out of my mouth
Oh-it must have been while you were kissing me
You took the words right out of my mouth
And I swear it's true
I was just about to say I love you
And then you took the words right out of my mouth
Oh-it must have been while you were kissing me
You took the words right out of my mouth
And I swear it's true
I was just about to say I love you
You took the words right out of my mouth
It must have been while you were kissing me
You took the words right out of my mouth
It must have been while you were kissing me
You took the words right out of my mouth
It must have been while you were kissing me

I'm not the one

January 14th - The Buggles - Living In The Plastic Age
Living In The Plastic Age Lyrics
Artist: Buggles
Every day my metal friend
Shakes my bed at 6am
Then the shiny serving clones
Run in with my telephones
Talking fast I make a deal
Buy the fake and sell what's real
What's this pain here in my chest?
Maybe I should take a rest
They send the heart police to put you under,
Cardiac arrest
and as they drag you through the door
They tell you that you've failed the test
Living in the ...
Living in the plastic age
Looking only half my age
Hello doctor lift my face
I wish my skin could stand the pace
In the bed I read my mind
Remember how the mice were blind
I watch them fighting in their cage
Could this be the plastic age?
They send the heart police
to put you under cardiac arrest
and as they drag you through the door
they tell you that you've failed the test
Living in the
Plastic age
Plastic age
Plastic age
They send the heart police to put you under
Cardiac arrest
and as they drag you through the door
They tell you that you've failed the test
Living in the plastic age
Plastic age
Plastic age

January 13th - Sir Paul McCartney - Hope Of Deliverance Live
Hope Of Deliverance Lyrics
I will always be hoping, hoping
you will always be holding,
holding my heart in your hand,
I will understand.
I will understand someday, one day you will understand,
always, always from now until then,
when it will be right.
I don't know.
what it will be like,
I don't know.
We live in hope of deliverance
from the darkness that surrounds us.
Hope of deliverance,
hope of deliverance,
hope of deliverance
from the darkness
that surrounds us.
And I wouldn't mind knowing,
knowing that you wouldn't mind
going, going along with my plan,
when it will be right.
I don't know ...
Solo
Hope of deliverance ...
Hope of deliverance ...
Solo
Hope of deliverance,
hope of deliverance.
I will understand,
hope of deliverance.

January 12th - Glee - Forget You
Forget You lyrics
I see you drivin' 'round town with the guy I love
And I'm like, forget you
I guess the change in my pocket wasn't enough
I'm like, forget you and forget him too
Said, if I was richer I'd still be with ya
Huh, now ain't that some shh (ain't that some shh)
Now though there's pain in my chest
I still wish you the best
With a.. Forget you!
Yeah I'm sorry, I can't afford a ferrari
But that don't mean I can't get you there
I guess she's an Xbox and I'm more an Atari
Hmm, but the way you play your game ain't fair
I pity the fool that falls in love with you
(Ooh, she's a gold digger, just thought you should know
it)
Ooh, I got some news for you
Yeah! Go run and tell your little girlfriend
I see you drivin' 'round town with the guy I love
And I'm like, forget you (ooh)
I guess the change in my pocket wasn't enough
I'm like, forget you and forget him too
Said, if I was richer I'd still be with ya
Now ain't that some shh (ain't that some shh)
Now though there's pain in my chest
I still wish you the best
With a.. Forget you!
Now I know, that I had to borrow
Beg and steal and lie and cheat
Tryin' to keep ya, Tryin' to please ya
'Cause being in love with you ain't cheap
I pity the fool that falls in love with you
(Ooh, she's a gold digger, just thought you should know
it) Yea
Ooh, I got some news for you
Oh, I really hate you right now
I see you drivin' 'round town with the guy I love
And I'm like, forget you
I guess the change in my pocket wasn't enough
I'm like, forget you and forget him too
Said, if I was richer I'd still be with ya
Huh, now ain't that some shh (ain't that some shh)
Now though there's pain in my chest
I still wish you the best
With a.. Forget you!
Now baby, baby, baby why do you wanna, wanna hurt me so
bad (so bad) so bad
(so bad) yeah, ohh
I tried to tell my momma but she told me this is one
for your dad (your dad, your dad, your dad)
Yes she did, Yes she did
(Ooh) WHY?
(Ooh) WHY?
(Ooh) WHY? BABY?
(Ooh!) I love you! I still love you! Hey yeah!
I see you drivin' 'round town with the guy I love
And I'm like, forget you (forget you, ooh yeah)
I guess the change in my pocket wasn't enough (ooh)
I'm like, forget you and forget him too (ooh baby)
Said, if I was richer I'd still be with ya (yeah you)
Huh, now ain't that some shh (ain't that some shh)
Although there's pain in my chest
I still wish you the best (wish you the best)
With a.. Forget you! Oooh

January 11th - Shannon - Give me tonight
Give me tonight...
Give me tonight...
Give me tonight...
Chorus
Give me tonight
Then if you don’t wanna stay
Girl, i’ll just forget you
You’ll see i’m right
You won’t get to go away
Love ain’t gonna let you
Walkin’ sadly through the park
I hear cryin’ in the darkness
And though i act like i cannot hear
The situation is very clear
A girl who’s trying to tell her guy
The time has come that they say goodbye
And his answer tears my heart apart
Give me tonight
Then if you don’t wanna stay
Girl, i’ll just forget you
You’ll see i’m right
You won’t get to go away
Love ain’t gonna let you
Walkin’ with you through the park
Now it’s my voice in the darkness
Just like the girl tryin’ to tell her guy
I’m telling you we must say goodbye
I can’t believe when i hear once more
The very words that were said before
Come from deep within your broken heart
Your voice echoes in the dark
Your voice echoes in the dark
Give me tonight
Then if you don’t wanna stay
Girl, i’ll just forget you
You’ll see i’m right
You won’t get to go away
Love ain’t gonna let you (i’ll give you one more night)
Give me tonight
Then if you don’t wanna stay
Girl, i’ll just forget you (yes, i’ll give you one more night)
You’ll see i’m right
You won’t get to go away
Love ain’t gonna let you (i’ll give you one more night night...night...night...night...night...night...)
Love, love, love, love, love....
Love ain’t gonna let you go
One more night
One more night
One more night
His voice echoes in the darkness
Give me tonight
Then if you don’t wanna stay
Girl, i’ll just forget you (yes, i’ll give you one more night)
You’ll see i’m right
You won’t get to go away
Love ain’t gonna let you (love, love ain’t gonna let you)
Give me tonight
Then if you don’t wanna stay
Girl, i’ll just forget you (i’ll give you one more night)
You’ll see i’m right (i’ll give you one more night)
You won’t get to go away
Love ain’t gonna let you (love, love ain’t gonna let you)
Give me tonight

January 10th - Genesis - Man on the Corner
Genesis - Man on the Corner
See the lonely man there on the corner
What he's waiting for, I don't know
But he waits everyday now
He's just waiting for something to show
And nobody knows him
And nobody cares
Cos there's no hiding place
There's no hiding place for you
Looking everywhere at no one
He sees everything and nothing at all
Oh, when he shouts nobody listens
Where he leads no one will go
He's a lonely man, there on the corner
What he's waiting for, I don't know
But he waits everyday now
He's just waiting for something to show
Nobody knows him
And nobody cares
Cos there's no hiding place
There's no hiding place - for you and me
We're just like all the rest
We're looking too hard for something he's got
Or moving too fast to rest
But like a monkey on your back, you need it
But do you love it enough to leave it
Just like the lonely man there on the corner
What he's waiting for, I don't know
But he waits everyday now
He's just waiting for something to show

January 9th - WASP - Inside the Electric Circus
Inside The Electric Circus lyrics
A scream unlocks the cage, the roars rock the stage
Hunger of the animals are calling
Thrive upon the rage, paw prints on the stage
The room's going wild, walls are falling
Lights shine illuminating bright
Reveal all the madness here tonight
Welcome, I bid you welcome
To life inside the electric circus
Hang on, hang on for your life
The animals are all insane- God help us
Electricity to burn, amplifiers churn
Three ring madhouse calls the action
It's life upon the road, insane asylum grows
Night after night, the main attraction
A strange world that you might want to know
When it comes alive- crank up the show
Welcome, I bid you welcome
To life inside the electric circus
Hang on, hang on for your life
The animals are all insane- God help us

January 8th 2011, Kinks - Come Dancing
Come Dancing
They put a parking lot on a piece of land
When the supermarket used to stand.
Before that they put up a bowling alley
On the site that used to be the local palais.
That’s where the big bands used to come and play.
My sister went there on a saturday.
Come dancing,
All her boyfriends used to come and call.
Why not come dancing, it’s only natural?
Another saturday, another date.
She would be ready but she’s always make them wait.
In the hallway, in anticipation,
He didn’t know the night would end up in frustration.
He’d end up blowing all his wages for the week
All for a cuddle and a peck on the cheek.
Come dancing,
That’s how they did it when I was just a kid,
And when they said come dancing,
My sister always did.
My sister should have come in a midnight,
And my mum would always sit up and wait.
It always ended up in a big row
When my sister used to get home late.
Out of my window I can see them in the moonlight,
Two silhouettes saying goodnight by the garden gate.
The day they knocked down the palais
My sister stood and cried.
The day they knocked down the palais
Part of my childhood died, just died.
Now I’m grown up and playing in a band,
And there’s a car park where the palais used to stand.
My sister’s married and she lives on an estate.
Her daughters go out, now it’s her turn to wait.
She knows they get away with things she never could,
But if I asked her I wonder if she would,
Come dancing,
Come on sister, have yourself a ball.
Don’t be afraid to come dancing,
It’s only natural.
Come dancing,
Just like the palais on a Saturday.
And all her friends will come dancing
Where the big bands used to play.

January 7th 2011, Supertramp - School
School by Supertramp

I can see you in the morning
When you go to school
Don't forget our books,
You know you've got to learn the golden rule.
Teacher tells you
Stop your play and go on with your work,
And be like Johnnie Too good.
Don't you know he never shrinks, he's coming
along
After school is over
Your playing in the park,
Don't be out too late
Don't let it get too dark.
They tell you not to hang around
And learn what life's about
And grow up just like them,
Won't let you work it out
And you're full of doubt
Maybe I'm mistaken
Expecting you to fight
Or maybe I'm just crazy
I don't know wrong from right. But while I'm
still living
I've just got this to say
It's always up to you, if you want to be that,
Want to see that, want to see it that way.
Don't do this and don't do that
What are they tryin' to do ?
Make a good boy of you,
Do they know where it's at?
Don't criticize they're old and wise
Do as they tell you to,
Don't want the devil to,
Come and pull out your eyes.
You're coming along.

January 6th 2011 - Hallelujah
Espen Lind (on guitar), Askil Holm, Alejandro Fuentes, Kurt Nilsen (World Idol)
Four Norwegian great singers. Enjoy!
"Hallelujah" Leonard Cohen
Now I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
It goes like this
The fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you
She tied you
To a kitchen chair
She broke your throne, and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah
Baby I have been here before
I know this room, I've walked this floor
I used to live alone before I knew you.
I've seen your flag on the marble arch
Love is not a victory march
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
There was a time you let me know
What's really going on below
But now you never show it to me, do you?
And remember when I moved in you
The holy dove was moving too
And every breath we drew was Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Maybe there’s a God above
But all I’ve ever learned from love
Was how to shoot at someone who outdrew you
It’s not a cry you can hear at night
It’s not somebody who has seen the light
It’s a cold and it’s a broken Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
You say I took the name in vain
I don't even know the name
But if I did, well really, what's it to you?
There's a blaze of light
In every word
It doesn't matter which you heard
The holy or the broken Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
I did my best, it wasn't much
I couldn't feel, so I tried to touch
I've told the truth, I didn't come to fool you
And even though
It all went wrong
I'll stand before the Lord of Song
With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah

January 5th, 2011 Alice Cooper - Poison
Congrats on the Hall of Fame!
Alice Cooper - Poison
Songwriters: Mccurry, John; Cooper, Alice; Child, Desmond;
Your a cruel device
Your blood, like ice
One look, could kill
My pain, your thrill
I wanna love you but I better not touch
(Don't touch)
I wanna hold you, but my senses tell me to stop
I wanna kiss you but I want it too much
(Too much)
I wanna taste you but your lips are venomous poison
You're poison running through my veins
You're poison I don't wanna break these chains
Your mouth, so hot
Your web, I'm caught
Your skin, so wet
Black lace, on sweat
I hear you calling and it's needles and pins
(And pins)
I wanna hurt you just to hear you screaming my name
Don't wanna touch you but you're under my skin
(Deep in)
I wanna kiss you but your lips are venomous poison
You're poison running through my veins
You're poison I don't wanna break these chains, poison
One look
(One look)
Could kill
(Could kill)
My pain, your thrill
I wanna love you but I better not touch
(Don't touch)
I wanna hold you, but my senses tell me to stop
I wanna kiss you but I want it too much

I wanna love you but I better not touch
(Don't touch)
I wanna hold you, but my senses tell me to stop
I wanna kiss you but I want it too much
(Too much)
I wanna taste you but your lips are venomous poison
Yeah, well I don't wanna break these chains, poison
(Poison)
Runnin' deep inside my veins
Burnin' deep inside my brain, poison
(Poison)
I don't wanna break these chains
(Poison)
(Poison)
Poison
I don't wanna break these chains

January 4th, 2011 Muse A+
Muse – Time is Running Out
I think I'm drowning
asphyxiated
I wanna break this spell
that you've created
you're something beautiful
a contradiction
I wanna play the game
I want the friction
you will be the death of me
you will be the death of me
bury it
I won't let you bury it
I won't let you smother it
I won't let you murder it
our time is running out
our time is running out
you can't push it underground
you can't stop it screaming out
I wanted freedom
bound and restricted
I tried to give you up
but I'm addicted
now that you know I'm trapped sense of elation
you'd never dream of
breaking this fixation
you will squeeze the life out of me
bury it
I won't let you bury it
I won't let you smother it
I won't let you murder it
our time is running out
our time is running out
you can't push it underground
you can't stop it screaming out
how did it come to this?
ooooohh
you will suck the life out of me
bury it
I won't let you bury it
I won't let you smother it
I won't let you murder it
our time is running out
our time is running out
